Changelog

What is in the beta, and what lands next. Updates install on relaunch; your index is never rebuilt from scratch.

0.1.12 3 September 2026 Current

Connect a second account, and switch between them

New
  • Connect a second Gmail account and switch between them from the avatar menu. Each account keeps its own mailbox, unread count, and alerts — nothing crosses between them.
  • Inline images cache on disk, so a reopened thread doesn't refetch them.
Fixed
  • The sender pane fills the moment it opens.
  • Inline images load reliably, including when the image is the message's only part.
  • Your RSVP answer shows on the guest list, and undo after responding restores things properly.
  • Attachments whose Gmail ids went stale now repair themselves instead of failing forever.
0.1.11 30 August 2026

Compose by mouse, and a digest that stops looking selected

New
  • A Compose button in the rail, where the design puts it — the same action C has always performed, so the click and the key cannot drift apart.
Fixed
  • The daily digest was drawn in the selection colour, so it read as a row you had highlighted rather than as a card.
0.1.10 29 August 2026

A send that fails says so, and junk stops waking up

New
  • A change that never reached Gmail now appears in the bell, with the thread it belongs to — and can be tried again or thrown away. Only changes that are safe to run twice offer a retry; nothing that reaches another person is repeated on a click.
Fixed
  • Deleting or junking a thread ends its snooze. It used to come back to the inbox at the time you had asked for, out of the trash.
  • A send whose response was lost no longer stops the outbox for the rest of the session, and is never replayed.
0.1.9 26 August 2026

Drafts written in Gmail, attachments on click

New
  • A draft you started in Gmail is adopted here instead of being shadowed by a second one.
  • Attachments open on a click and save on demand, and a dropped file reaches the window.
Improved
  • The signature setting shows the signature it will actually append.
  • Leaving a thread keeps the search you opened it from.
Fixed
  • A window the system restored off-screen is recentred rather than lost.
  • When Claude Code is unavailable, the app says why instead of going quiet.
0.1.0 – 0.1.8 12 – 22 August 2026

First beta, and the fortnight after

Connect a Gmail account and the backlog sorts while you read. Indexing, sorting, summaries and drafts all run on your machine.

New
  • Nine streams — Needs reply, Action needed, FYI, Waiting on them, Calendar, Newsletter, Cold, Scheduling and Travel — each with its own rhythm.
  • Summaries on any thread longer than a message, leading with what changed rather than restating the subject.
  • Replies drafted in your voice from the thread and past correspondence, ready to send, edit or rewrite.
  • Ask your mailbox a question in plain language and get an answer with the threads it came from.
  • Deep research reads the attachments and the pages a thread links to before it answers.
  • Day and week calendar views, invitations answered from the thread, and free times you can drop into a reply.
  • Rich text where you write, with the shortcuts you already know.
  • Updates install on their own and offer the restart.
Improved
  • Your Gmail labels appear in the sidebar, nested, alongside Inbox, Starred, Snoozed and the rest.
  • Every sorted thread explains why it landed where it did, and V moves it somewhere else for good.
